Quaker Social Action- Down to Earth
If you are on a low income, Down to Earth can support you to find a meaningful funeral that is more affordable.
Services Include:
• Online information and guidance regarding keeping funeral costs down and raising money towards them.
• Digital eligibility checker for the Social Fund Funeral Expenses Payment from the DWP (England and Wales) and Department for Communities (Northern Ireland)
• Funeral costs helpline, for those who need more support. Available only before a funeral has taken place.
• Bespoke training for bereavement professionals available.
