Spotland Community Centre
Spotland Community Association is a registered charity which works with disadvantaged & deprived communities of Rochdale - providing support, advice & guidance around welfare rights/ benefits, education & training and social inclusion activities to improve the overall quality of life. We work with all age groups delivering projects and services for the youth & adults through our educational programmes and training.
We have a variety of projects including:
- ESOL and basic English classes
- Smart Hub - The Hub teaches you all types of social media including Facebook, Twitter and Skype. Whether your looking for employment or just social interaction with friends our Smart Hub provides all the details to get you up and running
- Maverick Lab - Community project including Digital Skills, basic Maths and basic English
- Benefits and Welfare Advice Service
- Jobs club

Spotland Community Centre - Job Club
The Job Club has expanded and developed over the years and the aim is to support local residents.
Services include:
• CV writing
• Job searches
• Writing applications
• Help with interview techniques, presentations and telephone skills.
Our Job Club coordinator has devised a weekly file/notice board of updated new job vacancies so users can access this information easily and apply for suitable positions.
