Community Arts North West (CAN)
Community Action Network (CAN) is an organisation that supports local communities and groups in the UK. Their main aim is to empower people to make positive changes in their neighbourhoods.
CAN works with a variety of community groups, charities, and individuals to provide resources and training. They offer help with project planning, fundraising, and developing community initiatives. For example, they might assist a local group in organising an event or securing funding for a community project.
CAN provides a range of arts activities, accessible events, training for artists from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds and projects which we deliver in partnership with other organisations and community groups.

Community Action Network (CAN) is an organisation that supports local communities and groups in the UK. Their main aim is to empower people to make positive changes in their neighbourhoods. They provide a range of services, including workshops, networking opportunities, and one-to-one support.
CAN provides a range of arts activities, accessible events, training for artists from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds and projects which we deliver in partnership with other organisations and community groups. We also run the Horizons Festival which usually coincides with Refugee Week and often run free events for refugees and asylum seekers as part of that. We have a children and young people’s programme providing free, accessible, participatory cultural activities which are intercultural.
