"Garden Needs is a centre where we run a regular mental health and horticulture project. It is also a hub for green wellbeing projects and interventions that we offer in parks and green spaces across Greater Manchester. The Garden Needs site is on the boarder of Salford and Prestwich and is right on the edge of the Kersal Dale Woodland. Garden Needs hosts a number of projects including forest school training, woodland wellbeing for adults, a mental health and horticulture project, a pre-school forest school, green social prescribing, holiday clubs and, outdoor education services for schools."

A Healthy Living Centre offering Free Activities, Courses and Events for Salford People with the aim of giving communities the opportunity to access Healthier and Happier Lives. Range of services and facilities offered include free counselling, fitness and health activities, social opportunities, Woodland Wellbeing Walks, Gardening Sessions, History Walks, Saturday Socials and Exercise Sessions, language, arts and crafts, community cafe, volunteering opportunities and more.
