Salford Food Parcels Project
Salford Food Parcels is a food bank fighting local food poverty.
We provide free food to anyone in food poverty. We work in collaboration with the Red Cross who provide destitute asylum seekers with bus fare to attend the project. We also help anyone who is struggling with coping for a short period until they are able to manage again.
We provide basic food stuff and as much fresh food as we are able to obtain from other food providers, such as Fareshare and Fareshare Go (food from Tesco extra and express) or from our allotment.

Salford Food Parcels Project
Salford Food Parcels is a service that provides emergency food support to individuals and families in need in Salford. They help people who are experiencing financial difficulties, unemployment, or other crises that make it hard to buy food.
In addition to food parcels, Salford Food Parcels offers information on other support services, such as budgeting advice and access to local resources that can help with longer-term solutions. For example, they may guide clients on how to apply for financial assistance or find job training programmes.
Overall, Salford Food Parcels provide basic food stuff and as much fresh food as we are able to obtain from other food providers, such as Fareshare and Tesco Food Cloud. Work in collaboration with the Red Cross who provide destitute asylum seekers with bus fare to attend the project and clients can register for BRC desitution support via Salford Food Parcels.
To Access:
Individuals can self-refer by contacting the service directly. Access the project via the car park entrance. Once a referral is made, clients receive a food parcel that contains essential items, such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and fresh produce.
