"Community Revival UK offers non-accredited and accredited courses to ESOL learners. They provide informal and relaxed classes designed to improve wellbeing and language skills, particularly those from the BAME community including asylum seekers and refugees. Their varied online ESOL programme across Tameside includes Functional Skills qualifications, wellbeing courses, as well as information, advice and guidance to learners. ESOL Skills for Life courses are available from Entry 1 to Level 2 and cover everyday scenarios to develop reading, writing, listening and speaking to support English language skills both at home and in the workplace. Courses last typically for 60 hours and a City & Guilds Certificate is awarded on successful completion. Courses are free for people over 19 years of age and are UK/EU citizens (or have Indefinite Leave to Remain) AND are receiving Benefit and looking for work. (Contact us for more details). "Community Revival is a specialist training company, engaging hard-to-reach BAME communities. Through our courses and projects, we encourage, inspire and instruct people, helping them to achieve a better quality of life. We exist to support people in education, training and employment, giving them the skills and knowledge they need to be happy, active members of their community. We offer courses in ESOL, Maths, English, Education and Training, Information, Advice and Guidance, Skills Support for the Workforce and Digital Skills. We also run projects aimed at improving individuals’ wellbeing. These typically take the form of an activity such as knitting, sewing, cooking, sports, and others.
