Tesco Mobile’s Reconnects service helps people who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness by providing free mobile phones and data. This initiative focuses on vulnerable groups, including older adults, individuals with disabilities, and those in challenging situations, such as homelessness or mental health issues.

The service aims to reconnect people with their family and friends, making it easier for them to access support and stay in touch with loved ones. To access the service, individuals can be referred by community organisations, charities, or directly apply through the Tesco Mobile website.

Once connected, recipients receive a mobile phone and a plan that includes data, calls, and texts, enabling them to communicate freely. For example, an older person who feels lonely can use their phone to video call family members or join online community groups.

Submit your request by emailing tescomobile.littlehelps@tesco.com referencing Tesco Mobile Reconnects, how it would benefit the service user and what device is needed and they will send one out.
