Cheshire and Halton Race Equality Centre
Cheshire and Halton Race Equality Centre provides support to Refugees and Asylum Seekers: We currently provide support to refugees through the Vulnerable Person’s Resettlement Scheme. We are also able to provide some support for asylum seekers through Migrant Help UK. We are OISC registered and so can give basic advice/information on immigration and asylum and protection issues. We also sit on strategic partnerships to identify key issues affecting our area.
In addition we offer a variety of free ESOL classes across our centres.
