"Diversiry matters is a user led service, aiming to listen, involve, empower and enable individuals. Our activities are delivered to ensure we eliminate as many barriers to participation and engagement as possible, which is achieved through providing bilingual, culturally sensitive provision across Tameside. ESOL classes are based across Tameside, with the main delivery venue situated in Hyde. We deliver basic conversation classes, including women only classes, but also work in partnership other providers to deliver classes to residents with a higher level of English. We also have opportunities for people to engage in volunteering, employment support and training, health and wellbeing workshops, and a range of social activities Perr Support Mentoring: Provide support for South Asian women who are in crisis and need one-to-one support.
