"Support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender intersexual and queer (LGBTIQ) people of African heritage, the wider Black Asian Minority Ethnic groups and asylum seekers and refugees. Programmes and Services offered: Signposting to immigration advice and other mainstream services. Organise social events and activities. Offer free counselling. Support LGBTIQ people seeking asylum with no recourse to public fund by subsidising transport fares and other costs such as food. Support destitute members with weekly subsistence. Offer hot meals for members. Offer moral and practical supports to people in detention centres. Offer moral support and evidence in court. Offer buddy support for members to sign at immigration reporting centres. provide support through referrals to solicitors, housing and medical services. We offer 1-2-1 counselling, online group mental health and physical wellbeing workshops, reimbursement of expenses, prepare to claim asylum, write support letters, attending court hearings where practicable. We provide reasonable destitution support when we have resources for it. ARF has fives centres across the UK: Manchester, Birmingham, London, Leeds, and Cardiff. We hold monthly group meetings at each local centre which is a safe space for our service users to attend. "
