"Stockport Mind is an independent mental health charity that offers friendly, accessible support and information to promote wellbeing in the community. Set up by a group of volunteers in 1971, we are affiliated to national Mind, one of the leading mental health charities in England and Wales. Mind Stockport and District offer a range of services to those struggling with mental health issues in the borough including a Choir, Art sessions, Carer Support and and Information and Signposting helpline - We will listen to anyone who contacts us. If you are looking for a particular kind of support, we will help to direct you to the most appropriate service, whether that is provided by us or another organisation."
