Greenspace Wellbeing Project

Being connected to nature has been shown to improve our mood and lessen symptoms of depression and anxiety. Our new Mind without Borders Greenspace Project is exclusively for Refugee and Asylum Seekers who would like to just get outside in a safe, quiet space with others, to cook together over the campfire, make some crafts and get in touch with the seasons. This project is held once a week at ‘Boiling Wells’ which is a wooded space belonging to St Werburgh’s City Farm. The space is private with no public access, and so it allows us to relax outside without fear of passersby, dogs or wayward footballs! Although it is a free drop-in, we will be complying to max of 10 people so it will be based on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to get in touch with the project coordinator, please email Jessica.Beeston@bristolmind.org.uk or call 07932 632569
