Community Arts North West (CAN)

"CAN provides a range of arts activities, accessible events, training for artists from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds and projects which we deliver in partnership with other organisations and community groups. We also run the Horizons Festival which usually coincides with Refugee Week and often run free events for refugees and asylum seekers as part of that. We have a children and young people’s programme providing free, accessible, participatory cultural activities which are intercultural. We always ensure these activities are accessible to children from refugees and asylum seeker backgrounds, as well as other young people who wish to attend. As our programmes are project funded, it is best to check our website for a current list of activities. Home - Community Arts North () In summer 2022 we have a project aimed at young people who are new the country and their friends. Information about this programme and how to access it is on the link below: Call out! August activities for CAN Young Artists - Community Arts North "
