Cheshire and Halton Race Equality Centre
We are a charity that exists to fight discrimination, with an emphasis on race equality.
We help refugees and asylum seekers, people whose first language is not English, victims of discrimination and hate crimes and local charities.
Services include:
• Immigration advice: we are IAA (formerly OISC) registered and offer regular drop-in surgeries
• ESOL classes: we offer informal and formal learning opportunities
• Support for asylum seekers and refugees: we offer help and support on a practical basis
• Discrimination advice: We provide information and advice to individuals under the Equality Act
• Consultancy & training: We deliver a wide range of training around equality
• Community cafe: we run a community cafe to support the development of the unity centre
