"Support to Refugees and Asylum Seekers: We currently provide support to refugees through the Vulnerable Person’s Resettlement Scheme. We are also able to provide some support for asylum seekers through Migrant Help UK. We are OISC registered and so can give basic advice/information on immigration and asylum and protection issues. We also sit on strategic partnerships to identify key issues affecting our area. Immigration Advice: We understand just how difficult the immigration system can be to navigate; let one of our qualified advisers help guide you through the process. Free service – we don’t charge for any of our advice or support Qualified – all of our advisors are fully qualified to L1 and the organisation is registered to deliver advice to Level 2 ESOL: We offer less formal community learning ESOL classes from three centres – Chester at the Unity Centre, Ellesmere Port at Trinity Church and Northwich Work Zone. All the classes are taught by ESOL specialist tutors and are structured as a lesson, but you can just drop in. Anyone can attend these classes and they are FREE. We have beginners and advanced classes at our Chester base. We offer ESOL qualifications – Entry 1- 3 through Ascentis, a highly respected qualification body. If you want to attend, you will need to undertake a brief assessment first. Our community learning classes are FREE to all. Our accredited qualifications are FREE to those on benefits or low income; you’ll need to provide proof of earnings or benefits."
