The Hub Altrincham

Our Hub is a community service based in Tameside that provides support for individuals and families facing various challenges, such as mental health issues, social isolation, and financial difficulties. They aim to empower people by offering a range of resources and activities to improve their well-being.

The Hub works with various groups, including those experiencing unemployment, loneliness, or health problems. They provide a welcoming space where people can access advice, training, and social activities. For example, individuals can join workshops on job skills, attend mental health support groups, or participate in fitness classes.

Referrals to Our Hub can come from local agencies, healthcare providers, or individuals looking for assistance. They work closely with other organisations to ensure comprehensive support for their clients.

In addition to these services, Our Hub promotes community engagement by organising events and activities that bring people together, fostering a sense of belonging.

Based at The Hub Community Centre, near Sainsbury’s in Altrincham, The Hub English class provides a welcoming environment for people wanting to improve and gain confidence in their English skills, while learning more about UK culture. Classes are free, offered as part of The Hub Community Centre’s service to the community. Teachers are ESOL trained, delivering unaccredited courses at Elementary and Intermediate levels.
