"Sheba Arts CIC is an artist and female-led organisation established in 2018 in response to the challenges of misrepresentation, or lack of representation of people from refugee and migrant backgrounds in the arts and culture. As the only migrant arts organisation in Manchester, we platform, co-create, and develop projects with people from different backgrounds. We promote social cohesion through cultural and arts programmes. Run regular calendar of workshops such as poetry, dance, sketching and an annual festival for those from migrant backgrounds. Sheba Arts Youth Programme ​Launched in April 2022 at Niamos, our Youth Creatives Programme brought together young people aged 16-22 from different backgrounds including Iran, Iraq, Somali, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria to explore different art forms including painting, sculpting, and writing. the workshops are held every Thursday 4-6 pm."
