"Home-Start is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age. We work alongside parents, in their own homes, to help them cope with the stresses and strains of life and make sure they have the skills, confidence and strength they need to nurture their children. We work with families across Tameside & Glossop, Oldham, Stockport and Bolton, offering a range of support including: - Home-visiting support - Infant feeding support (available in Tameside & Oldham) - Parent-Infant Mental Health (PIMH) support - Support for dads (Dad Matters) - Free education advice for two year olds - Empowering Parents Empowering - Communities (EPEC) (Stockport) - School Readiness (Play.
